RAM Drill-Down Floating Camera Mount for Kayaks, Boats, 18" Extension for Cameras, etc.
Consists of a floating 18" long extension pole with a 2-1/2" round base on one end and a universal action camera mount on the other. The ends can swivel 360 degrees, allowing infinite rotation in any direction.
The camera mount adapter is compatible with GoPro® and most other brands. (See pictures for mounting/attachment detail)
The marine-grade, powder-coated aluminum round base is drilled with the industry-standard AMPS pattern - essentially, a bunch of holes so you're likely to (1) find something that matches an existing bolt pattern, or (2) makes it easy to put new holes where you want them. It has a 1-1/2" diameter ball for optimum grip and resistance to undesired movement.
Suitable for devices up to 2 pounds in a normal environment; up to 1 pound in a high-vibration environment.
